Payment Policy
Platform Fee Structure
- For Guests:
- Guests are charged a 4% platform fee on the total rental amount.
- The fee is collected during the initial payment when the owner accepts the reservation.
- For Owners:
- Owners are charged a 10% platform fee on the total monthly rental amount.
- This fee is deducted from the monthly rent before transferring payments to the owner.
Payment Process
- Initial Payment by Guest:
- When the owner accepts the reservation, the guest is required to pay:
- 4% platform fee.
- A security deposit equivalent to one month’s rent.
- Example: For a rental costing €1,225/month, the guest would pay:
- €1,225 as the deposit.
- 4% of €1,225 (€49) as the platform fee.
- Total initial payment: €1,274.
- When the owner accepts the reservation, the guest is required to pay:
- Payment to Owners:
- The total monthly rent (e.g., €1,225) is transferred to the owner 24 hours after the guest’s arrival, minus the platform’s 10% commission.
- Example: If the rent is €1,225, the owner will receive:
- €1,225 – 10% (€122.50) = €1,102.50 per month.
Key Notes:
- The security deposit is held by the platform and managed according to the security deposit policy.
- Any additional payments for extending stays or other services will follow the same fee structure.
This policy ensures a transparent payment process for both guests and property owners while maintaining the platform’s efficiency and trustworthiness.
